When Greenbrier Communications was first established in the late 1990s by founder and current president Bill Lenherr, it was with the goal to provide the Greenbrier Valley area with a much needed local option for Internet service. By 2001, when Lenherr joined forces with local entrepreneur Allen Carson to incorporate the business, the focus had already changed to that of PCs and network support.
Today, more than 10 years later, the company has diversified further as a comprehensive provider of value-added technology and electric solutions and now conducts business as Greenbrier Technologies with three distinct and complementary business units: Greenbrier Business Technologies, Greenbrier Home Technologies and Greenbrier Electric.
